Case Study — Maritime Freight
Most Nigerian freight websites look the same: a stock photo of containers, a phone number, and a form nobody fills. Bluewaves wanted the opposite — a site that makes a shipper feel their cargo is in serious hands before anyone picks up the phone.
Visit the live site — bluewavesshippingltd.com ↗In freight, trust is the product. A company can move cargo perfectly for years, but if its website looks like it was built in 2012, big clients quietly choose the competitor that looks established — even when it isn't better.
Bluewaves was winning work through relationships. The website was doing nothing. Worse, it was undoing the impression the team made in person.
We designed a cinematic, dark-premium site around one centerpiece: a live, interactive 3D globe showing shipping routes arcing across the planet. Visitors can spin it, follow routes, and feel the scale of the operation. It is the kind of feature people expect from Maersk — not from a local freight firm. That gap is exactly the point.
Around the globe, everything stays disciplined: fast-loading pages, plain-English service descriptions, and a clear path from "I have cargo" to "I've sent an enquiry."
